Hello you, thanks for checking out my blog. If you’ve arrived here it probably means you’re looking for a little more about me, so read on for some good tea (spoiler: it’s the literal kind, I’m afraid).
I’m Kate, I’m 25, and a UK book blogger. My favourite genres are fantasy, sci-fi, graphic novels, and manga, but I’ll read pretty much anything. I’m a keen YA reader and am always on the hunt for more queer fiction.
My favourite authors are V. E. Schwab, Leigh Bardugo, and Laini Taylor (the holy trinity), and I’m currently attempting to collect every edition of V’s books (send help). I love watching k-dramas and anime, and I’m trying to learn more Japanese. I lived in Japan for a while and I miss it intensely. I’m vegan and I really like pigs. If you send me a picture of a pig on Twitter, I’ll probably melt (and then reform to say thank you).
I studied Linguistics for my MA so I love discussing the nuances of language. I’m a fan of peanut butter, bright colours, and tea. I drink so much tea. In fact, at this point, I’m probably 90% tea. My aspirations are to go into publishing and I would love to become an author (if I can actually sit my butt down and do some writing).
So, now you know a little more about me. If you’d like to chat more, come say hello on social media!
