With less than a week to go until Easter Readathon begins, I wanted to share what I’ll be reading with you all and also announce the liveshow dates.
Easter readathon will run from 12.01am on Friday 2nd April to 11.59pm on Monday 5th April in your time zone.
If you missed the initial Easter Readathon announcement post, make sure to check that out for all the details about the prompts and giveaway.
For my TBR, I’m going to try and hit all the prompts, and then read a couple of extra books if I have time.
Prompt 1: Read a book that gives you spring vibe
I’ve been wanting to read The Tea Dragon Society for a while since Katherine @TheWritingHideout gifted me a copy for Christmas. The cover DEFINITELY gives me spring vibes, so I thought it would be perfect for this prompt.
Prompt 2: Read a book about new beginnings
This is a novella that I bought back in January and haven’t found the time to read yet. Set in Becky Albertalli’s Simonverse, this follows the Creekwood gang now that they’re all at different colleges. Going to college or university is a big life step for any teen, so I’m going to be reading this for the new beginnings prompt.
Prompt 3: Read a book that’s under 250 pages
Pet is another novella that I bought a while ago and have been wanting to pick up for ages. It’s 203 pages, so it feels ideal for the under 250 pages prompt.
Prompt 4: Read a book with a pastel cover
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Pumpkin from the lovely people at Harper360 and the cover is a pastel pink (kind of, I’m counting it anyway), so I’ll be reading it for the fourth prompt.
If I get all of those read, these are some extra books I might try to pick up.
There will be two liveshows for reading sprints across the weekend.
The first live will be on Friday 2nd April at 1pm BST. We’ll be doing sprints all afternoon, so if you want to come join us, make sure to set a reminder on Youtube.
The second liveshow will be on Sunday 4th April at 1pm BST. Again, make sure to set a reminder here.
If you have any questions about the readathon or liveshows, feel free to drop me a comment down below.
