Top Ten Tuesday // YA contemporaries with big romantic finales

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s theme is:

March 24: Genre Freebie

For this week’s theme, I’ve decided to go for YA contemporaries with climactic romantic finales.

That’s right. I’m talking about the scenes when they run down the street shouting each other’s names. They’ve realised they’re in love and it’s a Big Moment.

I’m not going to go into too much detail because spoilers, but trust me when I say each of these books has a great ‘I want to be together’ moment.

These books have some wonderful romantic scenes. There’s a beautiful coming out scene, there’s a great reveal, and they’re just all so heart-warming.

One of these books has a truly fantastic build-up and another has a great reconcilliation. They all have these wonderful finales that are so worth the angst and drama throughout the rest of the book.

These contemporaries have a lot of will-they-won’t-they moments and some really sweet scenes that make you hope they really will. Each of their endings is great and really put a smile on my face.

Which romantic finales do you love? Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR?

Until next time,KateNEW

  1. This is definitely the kind of book/ending people need right now – a great time for this list! I loved RWaRB, of course, and I definitely want to try Geekerella and Autoboyograhy bc I’ve loved other books by those authors.

  2. I can’t say I’ve read any of these books, but I’m all about those grand romantic gesture. They make my heart swoon so I’ll be sure to add those books to my immediate tbr pile haha.

  3. I’ve read When Dimple Met Rishi- Loved it aswell !
I have still yet to read Tash heart Tolstoy, geekerelly &. Loveboat Taipei; which are still on my virtual wanna read!
