It was my birthday last month, and I was lucky enough to get some incredible books as presents. Some of these are books I’ve been looking forward to for ages so I can’t tell you how happy I was to open them.
Because they know me so well, both my boyfriend and my parents got me copies of the new hardback of Vicious, and my boyfriend also got me the Collector’s Edition of ADSOM, which I’d already received as a present for Christmas. As much as I was happy to keep multiple copies of both, my parents suggested I swap them for other new books, so I picked up The Poppy War instead.
I’m thrilled to have a copy of the new edition of Vicious, as well as The Queens of Innis Lear and In Order To Live, both of which I’ve been wanting to read for ages.
Do you usually ask for many books for your birthday? Have you read any of these?
