Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s theme is:
February 27: Books I Could Re-read Forever
There aren’t many books I could imagine re-reading again and again, but these ten I definitely could.
I’ve only just read The Gentleman’s Guide, Vicious, and Retribution Rails a few months ago, but I could honestly read them again straight away. A couple on this list I’m actually hoping to re-read this year are Six of Crows and A Darker Shade of Magic, since I read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom in 2016 and I finished the Shades of Magic series last year.
Which books are you hoping to re-read this year? Is there a particular book or series that you re-read at least once a year?
Some great books on this list!
Thanks Judith! 🙂
ooh, six of crows and dsom are on my list!! they are both going to be so much fun to reread this year!
i also agree with thug and the gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue 🙂
Oooh nice! Six of Crows keeps calling to me from my bookshelf for some reason. I just continuously want to pick it up again. I enjoyed our buddy read of TGGVV so much that I’d love to do another at some point. 🙂
I love so many of those! Six of Crows, Shades of Magic, The Hate U Give … but the Book Thief takes the cake. Just thinking about it, my heart breaks a little.
We must have really similar tastes in books then! 🙂 I know what you mean about The Book Thief, it’s such a wonderful, emotional book. ❤
It sure seems that way!
Definitely reread THUG foreverrrrr ❤ I still haven't gotten round to reading Six of Crows or The Gentleman's Guide…
Lovely list – and great to see Patrick Rothfuss, I should have thought of Name of the Wind too.
Lynn 😀
Anything by V. E. Schwab is a hit for me. I just find it so easy to get sucked back into her worlds. Six of Crows is like addiction to me now. I can’t get enough of that duology. The Book Thief is one of my all-time favourites, but I’ve not re-read it yet because it can be such a heavy book that I have to be in the right mood for it.
Totally agree about Six of Crows! Thinking I should have added Vicious to my list as well.
Ahh! So many great books. I recently re-read The Hate U Give, and I loved it even more! I also want to re-read Six of Crows and The Book Thief soon, those are two of my favorite books. I listened to the audiobook of the Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, but I really want to read a physicial copy too. Another book I want to re-read is A List of Cages by Robin Roe.
Six of crows and Crooked kingdom I have done a thousand times already! A Court of Mist and Fury is a go to as well. Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series gets a million re-reads from me a year too!
The Gentleman’s Guide made it to my list this week too! I absolutely loved that book; the mash of genres with historical fiction and a road trip adventure was just so fun and unique! I can’t wait for the sequel to come out this year! And even though, I’d probably cry every time, The Book Thief would be a great book to reread forever. Happy reading!
