Most on the time, there’s little else I want for Christmas other than books. My parents are constantly telling me that my bookshelves are already full (is there such a thing?) and were adamant I should definitely ask for other things too. So I thought up some other ideas, but still managed to sneak plenty of books in there.
These are the main books I’ve asked for for Christmas!
Unsurprisingly, there’s a lot of V. E. Schwab on my list. I ordered the Collector’s Edition of ADSOM before it came out, but due to supplier issues my order was cancelled (*cries forever*), so I’ve asked for it for Christmas instead. My sister is currently doing her year abroad in France, so I’ve begged her to get me the French ADSOM edition too. I’ve also finally asked for Vicious, because I’m desperate to read it ASAP and want to grab a copy before the new UK and US covers come out. (If you haven’t seen the new US edition you should totally check it out here.)
I have e-books of Strange the Dreamer and Of Fire and Stars, but it’s easier to read physical copies on my current commute, so I’ve asked for both of those in hardback. (Plus they’re so beautiful that I really want to add them to my shelves.) The others are just books I’ve been excited about for a while and really want to start reading in the new year.
What books are you asking for on your Christmas list? Have you read any of these novels? I’d love to hear from you!
I love your list! I hope you get them.
Aww thank you! I hope so too 😉
Amazing list!! ❤ I really hope you get to read Vicious because it's glorious, I adore it! And I can't wait to continue the ADSOM series, I've only read the first book so far and loved it. I need to read the second book asap. Lovely post! ❤
Aww thank you! I hope I get Vicious, as it’s been really high up on my list for a while! The ADSOM trilogy is honestly INCREDIBLE, so I really hope you enjoy the second and third books. It’s pretty much my favourite fantasy series ever 🙂
I haven’t read anything from your list, but I hope you get them all! Top of my list is definetly Rubies and Runaways by Janine Beacham 😊
