It’s July, which means there’s one thing on my mind: YALC. YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) is a huge event in London that runs from Friday to Sunday in the last weekend of July. Last year was my first time attending and it was an incredible experience; I got to meet V. E. Schwab and see her talk at two panels, so my summer was basically made.
I went on the Saturday last year, but because I had such a wonderful time I’m going for all three days this year. *internal screaming* I’ve been looking forward to YALC since January, so I’m thrilled it’s now less than 30 days away.
There are so many authors I want to meet (some for the second time!) and books I want to get signed, that I’ve adjusted my TBR accordingly to ensure I’m reading their books in preparation.
So this is what my pile looks like:
I also need to finish my current reads:
It’s another ambitious TBR, but considering how much I’ve been reading on my daily commute, it might just be possible.
What are you guys reading over summer? Are any of you going to YALC this summer? If so definitely drop me a comment!
